About Us
The founder of Shri Madhav Upanishad Ashram, Vedanti Sant Param Pujya Shri Yogiraj Bapji began providing food grains and medical assistance to the needy and poor widows in 1972.
“This noble activity has been continued since then by Pujya Shri Yogiraj Bapji, his successor Pujya Shri Purushottam Bapji, followed by Pujya Shri Narayan Bapji and then followed by Shri Madhav Seva Mandal Trust.”
Quite a few other similar aids for day-to-day needs went on getting added over years and continues to reach the beneficiaries till now on 15th day of every month.
Social Welfare
Total 1200+ family members are currently benefitted from the trust at present. The registration is done after a strict evaluation process so that the eligibility of the beneficiary is thoroughly verified.
Several donors visit the Ashram every month on previous day of distribution for preparatory work as well as on the day of distribution to volunteer themselves physically (shrama-dan) in this noble activity.Approximate annual expenses are approximately ₹ 50 lacs as of year 2022-23. The trust has won the faith of many donors through its transparent policies and efficient management.As the beneficiaries are increasing and inflation is going up regularly, these expenses keep increasing from time to time. Therefore, Shri Madhav Seva Mandal appeals all the graced ones to donate generously
Following are the regular aids & assistance rendered to the beneficiary widows and their families –

Spirituality
A beautiful grand temple is situated in the premises. Deities of multiple sects (sampraday) are worshipped here.
It has deities like Sheshashayi Vishnu-Lakshmi, Char Dham (Badri Narayan, Rameshwar, Dwarkadhish & Lord Jaggannath) Dvadash Jyotirling, Shrinathji, Shri Ram-Sita-Lakshman, Hanumanji, Amba-Gayatri-Saraswati-Khodiyar devi and so on.
Rituals of daily Pooja-Aarati etc. are performed by well experienced poojaris. All special Pooja-Archana-Abhishek etc. are also performed as per occasions.
Devotees can take benefit of Special rituals like Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva, Sahastra Naam Abhishek of Lord Vishnu, Hindola Darshan of Lord Shri Krishna, Yagna (Havan) of Godess Durga and many more.

Satsang Hall
A spacious, air conditioned and well-equipped Satsang Hall is located within the premises. It has a permanently constructed stage with a space to accommodate 300+ audience.It is available only for various religious events and gatherings like – Pravachan, Saptah (like Ramayan, Bhagawat, Shiv Puran etc.), Yagya, Satsang – Kirtan, Yoga classes etc.It is a perfect venue with availability of Chairs, some mattrasses as well as carpets (for Indian sitting) at the hall.
Sanatorium
How would any noble cause could be said being complete without expressing gratitude to the senior citizens?A latest apartment style building with 19 self-contained apartment type units is available for temporary stay for senior citizens, families, patients ailing from illness or for those who want to book some religious event at the Satsang Hall.Each unit has one room with kitchen and a washroom as minimum (studio apartment), while some of them are larger with one bedroom plus living & kitchen. All units have beds, Refrigerator, kitchen utensils with cooking gas. A few units are also equipped with AC.
